In 2024, we took a bold step forward by merging with WeedStar Retail Consulting, LLC (WSRC), a leader in cannabis retail consulting. This merger marks the next chapter in our evolution, positioning CBS as a full-service business solutions provider for both traditional industries and the fast-growing cannabis sector.

Our founder, Michael Gross, has guided this journey with a unique blend of experience, having worked with over 400 newspapers across North America and driving the growth of multiple business ventures. With Meghan Fort, founder of WSRC, now part of our leadership team, we bring over 30 years of executive retail expertise from globally recognized luxury brands like PRADA, Ralph Lauren, and Burberry. Together, we are combining our strengths to offer customized business solutions for companies of all sizes, including vertically integrated cannabis enterprises and multi-state operators.

    PRESIDENT & CEO

    Michael Gross is the visionary founder and CEO of Crossfire Business Solutions, Inc. With over 44 years of experience in the telemarketing and business services industries, Michael has led the transformation of Crossfire Marketing Group from a telemarketing firm into a diversified business solutions company. Under his leadership, Crossfire expanded to include Crossfire Newspaper Group, Crossfire Energy Group, and Crossfire Satellite Services, becoming a trusted partner for business growth across multiple industries.

    A graduate of The Ohio State University, Michael's career began at Jones Boys Sales and Promotion, the nation’s oldest telemarketing company, where he became President at the age of 25. Over the years, Michael’s expertise in business development, telemarketing, and direct marketing has been instrumental in shaping Crossfire's growth, including securing contracts with over 125 newspapers and developing innovative marketing solutions.

    Now semi-retired, Michael remains actively involved in CBS and his other ventures, including CannaPayers and Crossfire Payments, which offer credit and debit card services. His extensive experience and forward-thinking leadership continue to drive CBS's success in both traditional business sectors and the cannabis industry.

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Meghan Fort is the Chief Operating Officer of Crossfire Business Solutions, Inc. and the founder of WeedStar Retail Consulting, LLC. With over 30 years of executive leadership experience in luxury retail and cannabis operations, Meghan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to CBS. Before founding WSRC in 2022, she served as COO of a $125 million vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis company, where she oversaw its rapid growth and expansion.

    Meghan’s leadership experience spans some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands, including Ralph Lauren, PRADA, David Yurman, and Burberry, where she held key roles in market leadership, brand development, and retail operations. Her ability to drive corporate excellence and operational efficiency has made her a trusted leader in both the retail and cannabis sectors.

    Meghan holds degrees in Interior Architecture and Art History from Maryville University and Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in London. Her diverse background, combined with her passion for improving corporate hygiene in the cannabis industry, positions her as a driving force behind CBS’s business solutions, offering clients tailored strategies for growth and success.
